47 Years and Still Going Strong.
Country Road Carpet Cleaning (yes, the name can be traced back to the old John Denver song) began in 1973 by me, Dan Joner, and continues as a family owned and operated business in Clark County, WA. In that time, Country Road has become Clark County’s longest established carpet cleaning company and has come to enjoy a reputation for providing quality cleaning with personal, trustworthy service.
Having grown up in Battle Ground and enjoying the beauty of Clark County and the surrounding Gifford Pinchot National Forest, it was my desire to select a name for the company that not only captured the pleasantness of a rural setting but portrayed the quality of country freshness in the services I desired to provide my customers. Country Road fit that vision.

Appreciating and enjoying this beautiful area is something I never tire of. Whether bicycling along the Lewis River and the rolling roads of north Clark County or hiking the trails around Mt St Helens and Mt Adams, these experiences provide not only a refreshing break but a vivid reminder to keep my focus on my commitment to serve my customers with quality and integrity.
If you live in Clark County, take a look to the east. The highest mountain you see is Silver Star. This mountain was ravaged by the Yacolt Burn fire of 1902, and today it is a low-altitude alpine area. It provides a beautiful place to hike, with its abundant wild flowers and panoramic vistas of Clark County, Vancouver, Portland, and the Columbia River Gorge. It is also known as an indicator of when to plant your garden. The old-timers had a saying, “Don’t plant your garden until the snow is off of Silver Star.”
